Testimonials

Dr. Alyssa is very knowledgeable in several modalities and is an excellent listener, taking all symptoms into account when she provides treatment and prescribes exercises. She explains what she is thinking, and she makes me laugh with how excited she gets when I describe new issues because she geeks out connecting all the dots. She impressively unraveled a plethora of seemingly disparate symptoms I was having. I came to her with various pains, but after a few treatments, not only did I have improvement in pain but also surprisingly have had way more endurance getting through the day. She is also a delightful person. Don’t hesitate to set up an appointment with her! You won’t regret it.

Dry Needling

Dry needling creates very small lesions into the soft tissue to help with dysfunction, decrease inflammation, decrease nerve sensitivity, decrease scar tissue formation, and decrease adhesions. It is called dry needling because nothing is on the needle and the needle is so tiny that no scar tissue is created.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy involves soft tissue or joint mobilizations. It can be done using the therapist's hands or using tools to reduce tension, improve mobility, assist in tissue healing and reduce inflammation. This includes cupping, IASTM, myofascial release and trigger point release.
